How do we know whether we’re moving closer towards our stated goals? How do we verify that the economic development projects that we’re implementing as a region are achieving their intended effect? Part of Our Economy will be to develop a framework for performance measurement. This framework could rely on quantitative economic metrics such as job growth data. It could also include the perspectives of economic development stakeholders. Whatever mix of quantitative and qualitative information the framework may include, it will link back to the vision and goals developed earlier in the process. The performance measurement framework is expected to take shape by the middle of 2022.
